Writer of: Life With The Lyons (co-writer), Crackerjack, Ken Dodd and the Diddymen, Grandad (starring Clive Dunn), Dave Allen At Large (co-writer), and also creator and writer of Roberts Robots, Galloping Galaxies and Rentaghost, to name just a few of his credits.
Amongst many others, he has written for such comedy greats as:Derek Roy, Terry Thomas, Vic Oliver, Arthur Askey, June Whitfield, Ronnie Barker, Leslie Crowther, Michael Aspel, Hilda Baker, Kenneth Connor, Charles Hawtree, Tony Hancock, Jimmy Clitheroe, Kenneth Williams, Richard Beckinsale and Rolf Harris.

This site is created and proudly run by us, his family (two sons and a daughter), and at present (March 2008) we are just starting on this project. It is work in progress and we will be adding material bit by bit over the next few years. So please be patient!

***NOW OUT...*** A wonderful tribute by writer Garry Vaux of his memories of childhood TV. Much to our delight, one of his legends is our dad, Bob Block! Garry has included a chapter on Bob and Rentaghost but also on Ann Emery (Ethel Meaker in Rentaghost and the late Dick Emery's sister) & Sue Nicholls (Nadia Popov).
Also includes: chapters on Richard Briers, Bob Carolgees, Bernard Cribbins, Emma Forbes, Rod Jane & Freddy and Chris Tarrant amongst many, many others.
